The Ballet Aviv Company was founded in 2006 by sisters Katie Cook and Christina Goff. Their vision and goal is to provide pre-professional youth, chosen through audition, a way to expand their love and knowledge of Classical Ballet through concert performance, competition, and additional training opportunities.
Designed for dancers ages 10 and up that have decided to pursue their dance training beyond a recreational level by improving their technique and skills through additional training, competition, performance, and events/service opportunities in the community. All Ballet Aviv members are also Conservatory of Ballet Aviv students, and continue to maintain artistic standards established by the Directors by a required schedule of classes and a caliber of personal decorum. This standard of excellence is reflected in the accomplishments of dancers being accepted into programs such as The School of American Ballet, American Ballet Theatre Summer Ballet Intensive, Bolshoi Ballet Academy, Ballet West Academy, Kirov Academy of Ballet, Ballet Austin Academy, The Rock School for Dance Education, Atlanta Ballet Center for Dance Education, Joffrey Ballet Trainee Program. Dancers have both been accepted to and have received merit scholarships to College Dance Programs. Several dancers have also gone on to have successful professional dance careers.
